We have begun looking at different graphs and interpreting the information and data collected and displayed on each graph.
When you interpret a graph, you want to look at the title, the labels and axis, and the size of the bars or amount of pictures.
Then you can ask yourself some questions:
What is the graph about?
How many people were surveyed to create the graph?
What was the most or least on the graph?
What was the purpose of the graph?
Every graph tells us a lot of information! It is important that we take our time to look over graphs and discover what we we can learn from a graph.
For homework this weekend, students are asked to look at the following graph and identify 5 things they have learned from looking at the graph and data.
